A construction consists of bars with a certain profile. A rod is always connected to two junction points.
These junction points are shown to be attached to each bar with a junction point on the left and one on the right.
The connection of the bars to the junction points may be set or hinged.
The construction of the lifting mechanism consists of seven bars. Below there is a summary. This summary is a part of the numerical data. The numerical data is automatically generated when the construction is calculated.

Before a bar may be placed it two criteria must be fulfilled :
• At least one profile must have been entered.
• At least two nodal points must be present.
The choice of set or hinged depends on the construction; a bar which is connected to another bar at the ends by means of welding is set. If these bars are connected by a single bolt, such as a support brace is hinged.
If a situation occurs in which part of the hinged construction is allowed to move freely then the program will
report an error.
After clicking on the icon " Enter Rod" two junction points must be placed to connect the rod to.
